What if Nothing is Wrong

Growing up I had learned to focus on what’s wrong.

So, I became an engineer to solve problems and fix things. To make things better, cheaper and more powerful quickly. To be a man fulfilling the male role.

But all I was doing was wearing the mask of being “one of the guys”.

My epiphany: men are programmed in the male role to pursue happiness: the American dream. The consequence of this pursuit more often than not is ending up not happy but unhappy:

  • My life doesn’t make me happy.

  • My wife doesn’t make me happy.

  • Nothing seems to make me happy. Not for long.

At Great Guys, men learn to be happy. To be happy, we must first choose happiness as our outlook, our attitude for life.
